intu Shopping Centre Food Festival Event

Our Brief

Our client wanted a themed event which would encourage families to consider their shopping centre as a viable ‘day out’ location.

The event had to deliver an engaging experience, provide a reason for families to enjoy spending more time at the centre and involve retailers.

The activity had to adhere to the client’s brand requirements of delivering genuine moments of surprise, delight and joy.

The Solution

Rocket created a Las Vegas themed Spin to Win activity, where shoppers had the chance to spin a digital wheel on a large screen and win lots of exclusive food related prizes and be in with the chance of winning the main prize of “Dine FREE for a Year.”

It was completely FREE to enter.

All prizes and Las Vegas themed uniforms for event staff were sourced by Rocket.

570+ prizes awarded during the day.

27 retailers represented.

Facebook – 4,150 people reached and nearly 6,000 impressions.

Twitter – 9,700 impressions, 300+ engagements.

Instagram – 58 likes.

Don’t just take our word for it

Just wanted to say thank you for your spin to win event today. I was out for a brief new school shoes and clothes shop with my 2 boys when we spotted it. We joined the queue and they loved watching people win different things. We decided that McD’s or Krispy Kreme would be lovely and Krispy Kreme came up! A £10 voucher! They were delighted, I was too! You don’t often get something for nothing these days and this was a lovely little surprise. Thank you for making our day…all doughnuts have been eaten!
